I think it is not the right psychological, but the suitable ones are the best, and the suitable one may be won’t very expensive, sometime that would be more harmonious when a product only hang a very simple lanyard.
If the lanyards will be used in advertising and propaganda, the minimalistic one sometime would be more prominent and with better publicity.
